Since 2009 ΠΟΠ (formerly labelled ΟΠΑΠ or ΟΠΕ) has been the official indicator of the highest quality wine in Greece. i.e. wines made in specific regions, from distinct local varieties that are produced in select ways; a nod to tradition and a guarantee of quality. ΠΟΠ package includes: - a 1 hour wine tasting led by a trade professional - a journey across six ΠΟΠ micro wineries of Greece - tasting and evaluation of one sparkling wine, two white wines, two red wines and one dessert wine - the opportunity to learn about the various terroirs and the unique, indigenous varieties of Greece with a focus on the protected designated origins and how and why they matter
